I am a bit surprised to not see it in here. One of my votes went for World in Conflict Modern Warfare. I wonder if we'll ever see mods from those games make it.
Why buy a new game when you can just download a mod for a game of the golden days where publishers would invest millions into a true RTS engine?Īct of War has mod tools as does Ground Control 2 and now Steel Division 2 as well. The amount of RTS games also shows quite well how modding has killed the RTS franchise, together with MOBA of course.
